If you are visiting for the latter, Aldinga Beach is just a 3-minute walk or 2-minute drive away. Set up for the day, explore the rock pools or chuck the rod in. With flat compact sand you can drive on (no need for a 4x4) and launch the boat or simply load the car up and set up for a long day under the sun.
